June 12–14 | Strawberry Bay Campground
Join Fish For Garbage for a full weekend of stewardship, camping, fishing, and community at our Strawberry Reservoir Cleanup & Campout.
We’ll be gathering Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 14 at Strawberry Bay Campground(please note our new location this year). We’ve secured the group campsites, so volunteers are welcome to camp with us and enjoy the entire weekend together.
Camping is completely optional. You are welcome to simply join us for the cleanup on Saturday morning if you’re unable to stay for the full weekend.
The main cleanup takes place Saturday, when volunteers will help remove trash from the shoreline and surrounding areas to protect this incredible fishery and restore the health of the reservoir’s riparian ecosystem.
After the cleanup we’ll enjoy lunch, give away prizes, and spend the rest of the day fishing, relaxing, and connecting with fellow volunteers.
On Sunday morning, we’ll be hosting a series of optional fishing and outdoor workshops as a fundraiser supporting Fish For Garbage. Classes will include:
Fly casting
Fishing techniques
Entomology (understanding aquatic insects)
Boat safety & etiquette
Drift / Raft rowing
And more
Whether you're new to fishing or looking to sharpen your skills, these workshops will offer something for everyone. Sign up forms soon to follow.

8:30 AM – Free Breakfast

Note: Organizers, their family members, and sponsors are not eligible to win prizes. Must be present to claim prizes.
