2023 Provo River Clean Up

We are thrilled to share the success of the Fish For Garbage Lower Provo River Clean Up, held on April 29, 2023. With the help of over 300 volunteers, we were able to collect an impressive 9,240 pounds of garbage from the river and surrounding areas. That’s 30.5 lbs per person with a total of over 900 combined volunteer hours.

As organizers, we were humbled by the turnout and the dedication of our volunteers. It was inspiring to see members of the community, young and old, come together with a shared passion for preserving the environment.

Not only did the event help to clean up the river, but it also served as an opportunity to educate volunteers about the impact of litter on the environment and wildlife. We hope that this knowledge will inspire further action and commitment towards protecting our natural resources.

We extend our sincerest thanks to all of our volunteers for their hard work and dedication to the cause. Your efforts have made a significant impact on the cleanliness of the Provo River and set an excellent example for others to follow.

In conclusion, the Fish For Garbage Provo River Clean Up was a great success and demonstrated the power of community involvement in creating a cleaner and healthier environment. We are proud of what we have achieved together.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our sponsors for their generous support. Your contributions were instrumental in making the event a success, and we are grateful for your commitment to preserving our natural resources.

Your support enabled us to provide our volunteers with lunch and refreshments as well as the necessary supplies, including gloves, garbage bags, and other cleaning materials. It also allowed us to promote the event and raise awareness about the importance of keeping our waterways clean.

We appreciate your partnership and dedication to our cause. Your generosity has made a significant impact on the cleanliness of the Provo River and the surrounding areas. We hope that this event has inspired you to continue supporting environmental initiatives and making a positive impact on our community.

Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future.
